Herzog Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvginon 750ml

If you’re looking for a solid Cab, let alone a Mevushal one, look no further. This wine is dark garnet in color with a purple veil and a curious nose; black currant, cherry, raisin, green pepper, and a thin layer of smoke create a wonderful bouquet that is pleasing. Black fruits dominate the palate and are capped off by a note of chocolate and sprinkle of spice. The body is full and the finish is long with notes of blackberry and green pepper lingering. Tannins are mostly integrated, but still have a way to go. This should continue to improve with time. Enjoy!
