One star from the Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine: "t may be the cheaper of the Sonoma-Cutrer pair, but this firmly built middleweight is the better wine. If, like its mate, it steers away from high ripeness, it musters a goodly deal more varietal fruit, and its attractive mix of green apples, minerals and subtle oak is nicely sustained. It is never an expansive wine, and it ends on a fairly crisp note, but it will age a bit and should serve well alongside simple seafoods." (03/11)
