In 1554 a Spanish priest named Francisco de Carabantes brought to Chile its very first vine. By naming its first wine Carabantes, Viña von Siebenthal wishes to honour the pioneer of Chilean viticulture. Carabantes is an innovative, fresh wine in which the Syrah expresses itself in new, delicate and perfumed tones.
