A cult Bordeaux blend, one of the top performing wines at auction in Australia. The color is deep and the nose is pristine. The essence of cool-grown but ripe cabernet, juicy and cassis-like. Pure black currant varietal characters follow through the palate and a zippy acidity gives deceptive impression of lightness. Subtle French oak plays a quiet supporting role. Best cellared for 3 - 10 years and fabulous paired with roast duck, lamb or beef.
